Ola bom dia familia!!!

Hey family!!! I love hearing from all of you and thank you so much mom and dad for the bragging about diving and what not. What a couple of jerks:)

So this we was loads better than last week. We have seen so much more progression with some of our investigators. FFFIINNNAAALLLYYYY!!!!! In responce to your question mom (do we have baptisms every week). No. As much as I love the people here some of them are more hard headed than a cow who doesnt want to come out the hay field. ha ha. As a mission yes we do see baptisms every week, which is just awesome!!!

I will admite part of it is probably to the fact that Elder kearney and I havent been speeking the language as long as everybody else. We are probably the youngest dupla on the mission right now. But because of that same thing we have probably grown more in this one transfer than we did in every other transfer. Taking two things into mind especially. The first being the language and the second being in a brand new area where there where hardly any investigators for us to start off with. I can see it in Elder Kearney and I that.... We are pretty much awesome! :) I have improved so much more language wise and so has Elder Kearney.

So this week we got to go to an orfanige as a district service project. It was so freakin fun to go and sing and play with all of them!!! Half way though we all went out side and played a game called garrafinha. Which include a ball and two 1leter bottles:) I will teach you all how to play it in about a year and a half, after I finish my sisters mission:) ha ha We also met this kid that was about 16 years old that can draw some of the most amazing things I have ever seen! So the next time we go there I will probably buy one from him. This will start being a weekly thing for us so we are so excited:) Now we will start teaching all the kids things like hinos and things like that.

Yestarday I think we found one of the most humbled people I have ever seen in my life. So after church yestarday we went over to our districts leader house for lunch because we didnt want to go all the way back to our house. So we got to talking and he had recieved a contact in our area so he past it off to us and we gave her a call. On the phone we could hear a baby crying in the backround and she sounded pretty tired. She said we could go over so we headed over to her house to just go get to know her. We got there and we she open the door we saw this little room about 8 ft by 8ft with a tin roof, she had the baby in her arms that was still crying. She invited us in and just as we were walking into her casa we saw her leg that was deformed so she walked with a pretty bad limp. The moment we started speaking the baby got quiet and went to sleep. We got to know a little bit about her background with religion and with life. She had had the baby a month ago and her husband had left her and the baby about a week ago. She was worried lonly and scared. Then we started to talk about Jesus Christ. The spirit fludded into the room as we talked about the gosple of Jesus Christ and how in can fill that void of lonliness. It was just absolutly amazing.

Well hey fam I love you so much and I hope you all a wonderful week without our lazy parents out in cozemel:)

HHHEEELLLLOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey fam whats up?!!!! Holy cow i totally for got how much time karen and sean have left! that is so crazy!!! Gosh they are going to be home before you know it! Elder Sean Bast has less weeks than i have months! :) wow that is just so crazy to think about. And karen only has just a few months left herself. wow that is just crazy.

Sounds like everything is going good back home with all you wonderful folk. Now that summer is over and it is back to school what are you all going to do? Time has just flown by. I just cant believe it!

So this week has been an interesting week for us. It just seemed that everything was turning against us in a way. We would jsut have some amazing days planned out and then.... no one would be home, not answering there phones, or their dog died. ugh It almost felt like one step forward and about twenty steps back. hmmm. This week we are thinking about just doing a finding week and just contacting a tun of new people. ha ha going into a new area is interesting to say the least.

We still have a few really solid investigators. So far this week we have one person with a baptismal date and by the end of this week we would like to have another 2 or 3. We will see how everything plays out after this week. Hopfully before the end of this week we will be able to have a few meetings with the president of the branch to trying and get some more support from the branch. ha ha ya we will be kind of busy this week:) I like being busy or else I just go crazy.

Dear family

Hey there fam whats hangin!!!! things here are going great:) this new area has got a lot of growing to do but it will get thing with a lot of love and pacience. This branch that i am in right now is just so fragle so they really on the missionaries a lot. We are going to have to help with that:) We have first been talking with our branch mission leader and trying to get him a little better trained and we have been seeing some progress. It has been awesome.

So This week we found an amazing family. It was really by chance that we found them haha. Elder Kearney and I were teaching a lesson at an investigators house and as we were getting ready to leave a lady just entered through the door to come say hi to the family. When she saw us she asked us if we had so time to go to her house to give her husband a prayer:) So we had followed her over to her house and I was just expceting a man that was sick with a stumic flue. but that was not the case. we got to taking to him and his wife and in december of 2011 he had gotten into a car accedent in south africa. The car had rolled four times destroying the truck and leaving the man unable to walk. He had been paralyzed from the accident from the waiste down. They are hoping a surgery may help. Elder Kearney and I fell in love with them from the first moment we met them. They Truely are some of the humblest people I have met. So we gave the man a blessing and we have started visiting their house. We will see what will happen with them. We are really asking for help from the members with this one because they just love to have visets:)

Well hey fam i love you so much and i hope you have just a get week!

Ola minha familia amada!!!!

Hey how is it going everybody!!!???? Wow this week sounds like its been a little crazy for you guys! Its good though i bet it keeps you on your toes:)

But anyways I AM FREEKIN LOVING THIS NEW AREA!!!! This was just such and amazing transfer and I feel super blessed to be in this new area:) For mom no i last week I was just kidding with living in cassquell and not liking it. I really do love that house and we always have energy and water so I am happy:) But this past week has been so amazing and i can see so many blessing and the work of the lord moving forward... RAPIDLY!!!!!!!!! So as I said my companion is Elder Kearney. We get along so well and I feel like we work very well with each other. I am super excited to be working with him as we see this new area grow.

So just a little bit about the area. We have talked with our zone leaders and with our new district leaders and we have recieved a few investigators to start us off. In total we have 5 investigator 2 of them who are progressing and going to church. To say the least we have a lot more work to do here in this area, but we are happy and willing to take the challenge:) Our main focus these up coming weeks is finding. We will be hitting a lot of doors and making a ton of street contacts to get the ball rolling here. We have a number of ward missionaries who have been willing to walk with us to help us get to know the area so much better. Having the local knowledge to get to know the area has been just a huge blessing to have. We will also be visiting a number of members to get contacts of family and friends!

Something that President Walton said has really started to hit me especially in this new area. which is "trabalhar trabalhar trabalhar" and that is what we are going to do, "work work work!!!" It is through this way and only through this way that we will see this place wonderful country grow in the gospel and in many other aspects as well.

Just know that I love you all so much and i am very grateful for all your words of encouragement. This truly is the work of God on this earth and I am so grateful to be able to do a part even though it be small:) I love you all so much and I hope and pray for an amazing week for you all:)

Love,

Elder Wilhelm
